Our Italian ceramic tiles are created in small workshops in Deruta and Castelli, Italy by artisans using techniques passed down from generation to generation. All tiles are completely hand-painted. We feature traditional Deruta tiles in Geometrico and Fruit varieties as well as the famous Ricco, Raffaellesco and Arabesco patterns. The Palio di Siena tiles celebrate the famous Contrade” horserace” of Siena. The exquisite mattonelle “bricks” feature many different professions, saints, botanicals and zodiacs. And the San Donato tiles recreate the famous ceiling of the Cathedral in Sa Donato.
